English IV – Feb. 10 & 11 Hold on to your cell phones for a few minutes. I’ll let you know when to put them in the vault. Take roll within your group – you turn that in at the end of the project. Your research and Works Cited page is due Friday, so you have today and Friday to find all the information you need for your paper and presentation. Upload your properly formatted Works Cited page onto Edmodo. Where are you keeping your pieces of research? Focus on vision, power, and influence! You’ve got to narrow your focus. Margaret Sanger: Vision: readily available contraceptives for women; Power: she wrote and lectured during the early 1900’s; Influence: She opened the American Birth Control League in 1921 (the precursor of Planned Parenthood).

2/10 & 11 - What are you looking for? Audio/Visual – video or audio files of your subject to include in your presentation. If the person existed before video/audio, use lectures or movies with the subject Pictures – your presentation must have pictures Pieces of written research to save or copy and paste into documents to keep in your H-drive/Backpack – Enough so you can write a 4-5 page paper.

English IV – Feb. 12 & 13 Cell phones in the vault Take roll within your group – you turn that in at the end of the project. Your research and Works Cited page is due today, so you have today find all the information you need for your paper and presentation. Remember that photos and video/audio files have to be cited, too. Upload your properly formatted Works Cited page onto Edmodo. Focus on vision, power, and influence! You’ve got to narrow your focus. Do packet of commas and apostrophes—apparently we need to brush up on those skills. Next week, the sentence outline is due. On Saturday a sample outline will be available on Edmodo.
