 Write an essay in which you explain how the role of religion changed during the Middle Ages.

 The impact/influence of Papal Supremacy on Europe during the Middle Ages.  Economic/ Political changes that impacted the Roman Catholic Church’s power during the Middle Ages.

 Must have a at least 3 quotes from different sources.  Must cite at least once in each of the body paragraphs.  You cite by giving the, “quote”(Kullman).  Quote in “” author in () followed by the punctuation.

 Thesis Statement ◦ Middle Ages was a time when religion had a huge influence on European society this religion was the Roman Catholic Church.  Papal Supremacy ◦ The power of the Roman Catholic Church comes from the idea of Papal Supremacy.
