 - our school was founded in 1890 in a priest’s home. After 2 years, a proper building for school was built.  - during the First World War, the school was turned into a military hospital, because battles during the second World War were carried on the hills around the village.

 - in the year 1900 there were 145 students registered to our school but only 28 did come to school day by day.  in year 1980 there were 900 students in our school. It was the best year as number of students.  In the school year there are 650 students. The school populations is decreasing because the lack of jobs,people migrated to the cities and abroad

 In our school we study :  ROMANIAN  MATHS  ENGLISH  FRENCH  CIVICS  HISTORY  GEOGRAPHY  RELIGION  ART  PHYSICAL EDUCATION  PHYSICS  CHEMISTRY  I.T.  OPTIONAL STUDIES

 One week in April in the Romanian schools the students have only extra-curricular activities and projectssuch as :  The Cultural Day  The Educative Day  The Sports Day  The Workshop Day  The Voluntary Day

 In our school there are 650 pupils who attend :  8 classes of kindergarten between 3 and 6 years old  11 classes of primary school level between the age of 6 to 11  11 classes of secondary school between 11 and 15 years old  In each class there is a certain number of children with few opportunities, disabled or with learning difficulties. There Are a support teacher and a school counselor to work with them.
