Our Mission Our mission for the prekindergarten program is to partner with families to create safe, nurturing environments for young children that provide appropriate learning experiences in all areas of children’s development.

Prekindergarten Programs Title l Step FOURward VPK: Maintains a class size of 20. Be four by September 1 st and live in the attendance area of the designated schools. Head Start: Includes 3 and 4 year olds students, Head Start 3 classrooms maintain a class size of 17, Head Start VPK maintain a class size of 20 students. Child must be by September 1 st to be eligible. And * be eligible for the federal program based on income guidelines.

Prekindergarten Programs Blended VPK: Is an inclusion program consisting of 10 VPK students and 8 students with exceptional education needs. These 18 students are not required to live in the attendance area.( unless the school is frozen to out of area) Early Childhood (High School) VPK: The Early Childhood Located at select schools and maintains a class size of20, children must be 4 by September 1 st.

Attendance The student’s daily attendance in the VPK program is vital for a successful school experience. School attendance is the responsibility of the PARENTS. Teacher keeps daily attendance. At he end of the month the parent will be asked to review and verify attendance. The parent must sign and return the STUDENT ATTENDANCE AND PARENTAL CHOICE CERTIFCATE to the school.
