What Kelly needs to know: Your departure date, time and airline - to arrange vans/cars to the airport Your available time ( from June 19 to your departure day ) - to arrange time to settle the utility bills and have landlords check the apartments. Schedule example

What you need to do (checklist) Living - Settle utility bills - Clean your apartment - Get the deposit Scooter - No traffic tickets - Sell your scooter with ownership transfer Cards and bank account - Close your account of Taiwan Bank

Living – Settle utility bills When? Settle the bills before the day the first ETA in your apartment departs After settling the bill…… We will charge you $50 dollars per day to stay in your apartment. ($50 dollars are to cover water and electricity fee for the days you remain.)

Living – Get the deposit (I) When? After checking your apartment, usually it will be the day before you move out of your apartment How? -No damage to the apartment, - No trash- recycled trash included! - No open food or drinks in the fridge or cupboard - No tape on the window and no posters, pictures, tape, etc., on the wall

Living – Get the deposit (II) The apartment is clean. shared areas?? Return all the keys. (apartment- key number) Yilan A- 4 Yilan J- 5 Yilan K- 2 Loudong A- 2 Loudong J -2 Luodong H- 3 (keys to the last ETA who departs from the apartment)

Living – Reminders The last day you can stay in your apartment will be June 30. Don’t sell furniture or items that belong to the landlords. Don’t wait for the last minute to clean your apartment. The landlords will check the apartment with Kelly if their time is available.

Others We are not sure if we will live in the same apartments, so please put the stuff or objects you want to leave for future ETAs in a box. Based on the schedule, before the van comes to pick you up, Kelly will check your apartment again. If you have some things you want to donate, please wait for Kelly to give you more information. Hope to make the best use of things you leave.

Scooter —Transfer ownership The buyer will ask for your -ARC (or insurance card), -scooter permit -scooter insurance card -chop If the buyer is a scooter shopkeeper, he/she will help you transfer ownership. If the buyer is your friend, either you or your friend has to go to DMV to transfer ownership. Reminder: Don’t sell your scooter without transferring ownership. That will cause YOU trouble if the buyer gets traffic tickets or has an accident.

Cards and Accounts ARC card It will expire on August 1st. If you are staying in Taiwan, you need your new employer to help you get it renewed or extended. Health insurance card The last day you can use your card is on June 30. Close your account at Taiwan Bank -ARC card, passport, ATM card and bankbook -in person -only Taiwan Bank in Yilan City -convert money to cash in US dollars, US dollar traveler’s checks (American Express), or arrange a wire transfer to an account in the USA.
