Use the websites for your model on the following slides to research and answer the questions on your gifted programming model using the following 4 questions (next slide). These questions will be on the slides you will be using to present with next week during the Elluminate session.

#1 What is the background on this model? (Who created it and when? What is the proclaimed purpose of the model?) #2 What is the basic structure of this model? You are welcome to upload a graphic organizer - just it to me the day before the presentations. #3 Why would this model be helpful in meeting the learning needs of gifted students K-12? #4 What evidence of this model is available either in GCPS or other schools/school systems? Be prepared to ask your breakout group what questions they may have about your model. (Prepare several questions to ask your group just in case no one has any questions.)

 Your instructor will you the BB Elluminate link before class time on Week 27.  Be prepared to be the expert on your curriculum model.  We will start in the main room and then move to the breakout rooms to share the model that you studied.  Print the GIFTED PROGRAMMING MODEL GRAPHICS ORGANIZER in D2L to record notes  Read one of the five articles under AFFECTIVE NEEDS OF HIGH ABILITY LEARNERS – list 3 things you learned and be prepared to share during week 27 Elluminate session  Sign into your session early to work out any technical difficulties.  Continue to work on upcoming assignments due week 28.

 Submit formal lesson 3, artifact, extended T2P and all summary forms to Dropbox prior to class. Check your dropbox for any missing assignments for the entire course.  Download or print from D2L>content>lesson 28 “Question Prompt Sheets for Candidates”  If your class did not begin a discussion of ‘Affective Needs of Gifted Learners” last week, bring your three conclusions from the article you read last week.  If you are in a District Class, return your TST book to your instructor.
