Financial Highlights FY15 RRROCA 2015 AGM Presentation

FY15 Financial Highlights June 30FY15FY14 Revenue$76,095$97,846 Expenses$59,791$72,803 Surplus$16,304$25,043 FY14 financial statements re-stated. Some major expense items paid after the June 30, 2014 year-end should have been reflected in FY14 under the accrual method of accounting. Auditor re-issued report for FY14 on January 20, Above amounts reflect the restatement.

FY15 Financial Highlights  Main sources of revenue:  program fees (eg. spring sports);  membership fees; and  sponsorships.  Major expenses:  program delivery (eg. spring sports); and  community events (eg. Stampede event).  No significant changes in operations from prior year.  Financial statements do not reflect the value of all non-cash contributions made by community members (eg. volunteer time).

Community Park  AGLC “casino” funding:  As at June 30, $593,402  No casino event during FY15  October 2015 (FY16) another casino event held – payout to be determined (FY14 casino $72k)  Retention of AGLC funds approved until December 31, 2015; application submitted to extend this to December 31,  Additional grants have been applied for.  Project will be phased, as required, depending on funds available.

Motions  I move to accept the restated financial statements for the Rocky Ridge Royal Oak Community Association for the fiscal year-end June 30, 2014 as presented by the board.  I move to accept the financial statements for the Rocky Ridge Royal Oak Community Association for the fiscal year-end June 30, 2015 as presented by the board.  I move that the Rocky Ridge Royal Oak Community Association appoint an auditor engaged through the Federation of Calgary Communities for the fiscal year end June 30, 2016.
