Report Design Designing the Body of the Report

White Space Margins Provide enough white space around the edges for holding the page, binding the page, and a few jotted notes: Left—1-1 ½ inches Right—3/4-1 inch Top—1-1 ½ inches Bottom—1 inch

White Space Between Sections Provide some white space between the major sections of your report for a visual “break”. Around Images Create a white “frame” around the images within text.

Fonts Do not use more than two types of fonts in a single document. Examples San Serif: Arial, Helvetica,Tahoma Serif: Times, Bookman, Courier
