The Bell Family Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3, 1847 in Edinburgh, Scotland.His parents names were Melville and Eliza Bell.His two brothers names were Edward and Melville.He grew up in Quebec, Canada.When he was eleven years old he invented a machine that could clean wheat. Later in school Bell had bad grades, so his parents sent him to his grandpa's house to help get his grades up.

Bell's Accomplishments in life Alexander Graham Bell changed how we lived today by inventing the telephone.His wife Mabel Hubbard did not want be in the staff in the telephone company.He hired an assistant to make adjustments to his invention.Bell worked with the deaf to speak and hear.He also helped begin AT&T.
