The prompt  You are an author of a Federalist paper. You have been asked to write an article in your local paper to explain the need for the constitution to the public. Using your knowledge, write a paragraph explaining the changes in government from the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution.

Read the question  Underline the question/prompt and identify the type/length of response required by the question  5 paragraphs  Expanded paragraph  Solution statement  You are an author of a Federalist paper. You have been asked to write an article in your local paper to explain the need for the constitution to the public. Using your knowledge, write a paragraph explaining the changes in government from the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution.

Circle key words  In the question, circle the words that stress what the question is asking  Eliminate the unnecessary parts of the question  You are an author of a Federalist paper.
