SL Math is a two-year course. SL 1 is the first year.  Pre-Calculus and other topics  Preparation for the IA (spring) SL 2 is the second and final year.  Calculus and other topics  Completion of the IA (fall)  IB exam prep and completion IB Math SL Exam in May, 2017 (students in grades 11 and 12 at that time)

Transition from Algebra 2 to IB Math Algebra 2 IB Math Homework mimics classwork. Quiz and test problems mimic homework. Homework is an extension of themes presented in class. Quiz and test problems may be asked in a different way or may stretch thinking to assess conceptual understanding.
