Questionnaire to NSO on coordination of NSS and reporting data mechanisms to International agencies Purpose – To build a process analysis of coordination within NSS and reporting data mechanisms to international agencies, which will assist in the design and development of strategies to improve the collection of data for the MDG database.

Which measures taken in the last 2 years to improve national coordination in the reporting of official statistics to international agencies? – Coordination with government agencies in the standardization of definitions, concepts and evidence.- Egypt – Update a database for the indicators of the Millennium. Since 2008, the Department of Statistics under the HCP developed a strategy for statistical development for the next five years, Action Plan , Strengthening the legal and institutional framework of the national statistical system, including the revision of legislation on the statistical law, the National Council of Statistics and the national directory of businesses. Organized a regional workshop on "National Strategies for Statistical Development" Supported monitoring progress made towards achieving MDGs and other development goals.
