Family Exchange – Urla Club of Turkey  6 Families of Urla Club visited Bangalore from 12 th -14 th October hosted by 6 RBC families  Sister Club Relationship signed with Rotary Club of Urla in Izmir, Turkey on 1 st November, 2012  Initiated a Matching Grant Project with Rotary Club of Urla – Izmir, Turkey for Solar Paneling of 17 houses in Kadiovacik village – near Izmir  Aim of project is to reduce the current carbon footprint of village to ZERO by 2020  Only 2nd RI initiated Global carbon credit projects;

The partnership will continue…  Proposal to continue relationship with Urla club  Family Exchange  Youth Exchange  Urla club considering our Global Grant request of $30,000  Plan to do a joint project with Urla District and District 3190

Family & Youth Exchange  Invited to conduct another family exchange and youth exchange with Turkey next year  Also considering Malaysia for a famliy exchange  Rtn D. Venkatesh & Rtn. D. Ashok visited Srilanka during the 3 rd week of Oct for the faliciatation function of RI President elect Ravindran. PHOTO

Fund Raising  Recipient to be a International NGO in India like Rafael Nadal Foundation in Andhra Pradesh  Proposal to conduct a Mega fund-raiser through expat community in Bangalore during Feb-March  Target expats in Bangalore  Gala Programme by Ramana Maharshi Institute  Funds to be distributed to Blind School and ‘Rafeal Nadal Foundation’  Objective to bring awareness amongst international community in Bangalore and connect with clubs overseas.
