5 Club Service Club Service Present programs that support the Rotary International monthly themes Actively support PETS, Membership and RLI training opportunities for each member Have social-type meetings on the 5 th Thursday of the month – noon/evening events Have “Mix-It-Up” service events once per quarter Hold club elections in December Send at least 5 delegates to District Conference Hold minimum of 4 club assemblies throughout the year Produce Club bulletin designed and printed by members (to save funds) Update our Facebook and ClubRunner pages to keep the community informed

7 International Service International Service Blankets to Mexico – partner with other SV clubs to supply blankets to Mexican families Polio Plus Immunization/Fire Truck Delivery Trip to Caborca Mexico Support Rotary’s Microcredit on the Mexican Border/The Rotary Foundation Matching Grant Program – partner with Nogales, Mexico Donation to Polio Plus ”We are this close…”

8 Vocational Service Vocational Service Academic Decathlon – members will volunteer to assess students taking part in state and nationwide events Dictionary Project – continue to partner with other Sierra Vista clubs to deliver dictionaries to area third graders Club Programs – Highlighting professions in the community

9 New Generations Service New Generations Service Youth Exchange Student – host for one year Youth Exchange Christmas party - host RYLA January 2014 – actively support w/five delegates Project Graduation – members volunteer and provide donations at annual event

10 Fundraising Events Fundraising Events “Pub Quiz” fundraisers Conduct the 9th Annual Sierra Vista West Rotary Golf Tournament How The West Was Run – 5k/10k run and walk “Dine to Donate” – hosted by Applebee’s© Poker Run for local biker rally May 2014 (pending)

11 Membership Development Membership Development Increase club size to 14 members by June 30, 2014 (13 members as of June 30, 2013) Call and visit west end businesses and invite them to meetings Identify potential members in the medical, financial, defense contractor, legal, law enforcement and emergency services fields Continue to schedule weekly programs relevant to our club and encourage member participation Improve orientation/mentoring process for new members Implement a “knock ‘em dead” PR program
