COURSE DESCRIPTION Environmental health course addresses all the physical, chemical, and biological factors which may affect man health. It encompasses the assessment and control of those environmental factors that can potentially affect health. Course describes how to prevent disease and create health- supportive environments.

COURSE OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Know the principles of Environmental health 2. Demonstrate an understanding of some of the major issues of Environmental health. 3. Identify and describe core functions of Environmental health. 4. Identify the role and contributions of each of the core disciplines in Environmental health 5. Identify environmental agents that affect health.
