Agenda  Continue the work from yesterday.  Create a summary based on the main ideas from yesterday.  Work on text dependent questions.  End Goal: Become more comfortable in skills that are assessed on FRIDAY.

Summary  Share out main ideas created last night.  Create a summary based on those main ideas.

Text Dependent Questions  1 st : Answer the question COMPLETELY in your own words.  2 nd : Find a quote that supports your answer.  3 rd : Explain how the quote proves your answer true.

Text Dependent Practice  Does the narrator like his wife?

Does the narrator like his wife? The narrator does not like his wife because he talks about killing her. “Maybe I should kill her.” (1) This quote proves my answer true because it shows that the narrator is contemplating killing his wife.
