Tues/Wed, May 30-June 1  Welcome!  Bellwork:  Take out the 16.2/16.3 handout out and ready to be stamped.  Take a piece of paper out and answer the following five questions. Hang on to this piece of paper, use it to answer the test prep questions each day to help you prepare for the final exam.

Test Prep Questions  I am not going to require it, but I would RECOMMEND that you copy down the questions as well as your answers so you can study them. 1. Who was the leader of the Conquistadors who invaded the Inca Empire? 2. Why was establishing Quecha as the official language to new provinces of the Inca Empire important? 3. How were Inca stories passed on to future generations? 4. What prompted Moctezuma II to welcome Hernan Cortes? 5. What were some of the reasons the Samurai period lasted until the 1800’s in Japan?

Muesum Walk  For the Museum Walk, you will need to read each placard about a famous explorer. You will have 10 minutes to learn about 1 explorer. You will fill out the explorer notes in that section.  After you finish this section, each group will move to a different group and explain the information on their notes to a different group. Each group will have about 4 minutes to share their information, and then determine the route that explorer took (look on page 448 for help).  Groups will have 8 minutes to exchange both groups, then switch.
