Infinitives Infinitives are the base form of the verbs

Infinitives Infinitives equivalent in English to: to speak, to eat, to live, etc. In Spanish, all infinitives end in -ar, -er, or -ir.

Infinitives The following are some examples of infinitives:

cantar

bailar

trabajar

escribir

leer

nadar

comer

patinar

hablar

correr

Objective Express likes and dislikes in Spanish

Me gusta…./I like… Use the expression Me gusta followed by a noun to say that you like something. Example: Me gusta la escuela

Me gusta…./I like… Add n at the end of the word gusta when talking about plural nouns Example: Me gustan los dulces

Me gusta…./I like… Me gusta can also be used in front of an infinitive verb to state that you like to do something. Example: Me gusta bailar

No me gusta…. To say what you do not like use no before the phrase No me gusta trabajar
