2. Nouns (person, place or thing)
Nouns for people have natural gender.
Other nouns have gender based on their endings.
Still, other nouns have gender that must be MEMORIZED.
To form the plural of a noun:
add “s” to a word that ends in a vowel (a, e, i, o, u)
add “es” to a word that ends in a consonant

4. ADJECTIVES (describe a person, place or thing)
Adjectives agree with nouns in GENDER and NUMBER.
Many adjectives end in –o or –r for masculine and –a or – ra for feminine.
Other adjectives end in –e or other consonants for BOTH masculine and feminine (universal).
To make an adjective plural:
Add “s” to a vowel
Add “es” to a consonant

6. Gustar (to like) The verb ENCANTAR works like GUSTAR
To say what you or others like, use the verb “gustar”
Gustar does not work like other verbs. It only has 2 forms. The form of gustar used depends on what is liked, not who likes something.
There needs to be an IOP in front of gustar, which tells you who likes something.

Me GUSTAN el helado y la pizza. (there are 2 nouns so it is plural)
