Let’s Make a Movie The Basics

Before You Upload Your Video Clips Create a folder  Store EVERYTHING in this folder: video clips, movie projects, audio clips, pictures, etc.

**Video clips will open in Flip software window close this window Upload Your Flip Videos – Step 1 Insert camera into USB port

Upload Your Flip Videos – Step 2 Find your video clips under My Computer Rename each video clip, i.e., Dog_sceen1 (right click on video clip) Save each clip to your folder

Convert Your Videos Flip cameras take video in MP4. Movie Maker currently requires AVI. Use Prism (a file converter) to convert your Flip videos to AVI format before importing them into Movie Maker.
