What’s New in Ukrainian Language Education

Current information is provided on the following: ü Ukrainian Curriculum Development and Support ü Ukrainian Language Resources ü New Initiatives in Resource Development ü Professional Development Opportunities ü Ukraine-Saskatchewan Curriculum Development Project ü Summer Language Immersion Program ü Heritage Languages Program

Curricula, support documents and on-line resources are available for two types of in-school programs: Core Ukrainian Language Education K-12 Ukrainian-English Bilingual Education K- 12 With some adaptation, these resources may also be used to support out-of- school programs, such as Sadochok and Ridna Shkola.
