 Igneous rocks are formed when melted lava magma cools and turns to solid rocks. Igneous means made from fire or heat.

 Igneous rocks are classified on the basis of mineral logy, chemistry, and texture.

There are over 2,000 igneous rocks in the world and they are for building houses.
