EXPANSION OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE By: Molly Smith and Meghan Coppen

Expansion of B.C.E.  Rome conquered the Italian Peninsula.  Rome gradually took control of the entire Italian Peninsula.  200 years of contrast welfare. This is the Italian peninsula that Rome Rome conquered.

Expansion of B.C.E.  Overseas expansion during the Punic Wars.  Rome took control of the Mediterranean Sea.  Rome and Carhtage fought with each other for 3 years. This is the Mediterranean Sea that Rome took control of.

Expansion of B.C.E.  Expansion of the final years during the Republic.  Brought great wealth to the city of Rome.  The Republic collapsed.  This is general picture of Ancient Rome republic.

Expansion of 44 B.C.E.-14 C.E.  Rome became an Empire.  Only one man stood as the ruler of Rome.  The Civil Wars lasted for more than 10 years. This is one of the one man rulers of Rome Rome. This is the Ancient Rome Empire.
