Triangular Trade : The transatlantic system of trade in which goods, including slaves, were exchanged between Africa, England, Europe, the West Indies, and the Colonies in North America.

Middle Passage: Enslaved Africans sent to the Americas as part of the Triangular Trade……cruel treatment, starvation, disease, overcrowding.

The Great Awakening 1730’s-1740’s A Revival of religious feelings in the American colonies during the 1730’s and 1740’s. Traveling ministers of this movement preached that inner religious emotion was more important than outward religious behavior. This inspired colonist to help others and led to the creation of a home for orphans.
