Her inspiration comes from her very first camera her dad gave her, and her love of being in a plane and the view you can see from up in it. Later she actually became a pilot and explorer. The lighting is natural because its outside, and the direction its coming from is up in the air. The main subject of the picture is the mountains. Also it looks like there are ripples in the, mountains that makes it look like wind blowing in desert sand. The texture of the photo makes it so striking because it makes you look at every little detail. Lines in the photo also makes it striking because you see something different from the subject in the picture. I don’t think that the photographer is just showing how much more amazing a place can look if you take a picture of it from above it. I selected this photograph because because the main 2 lines in the picture almost look like they're pointing in a certain direction, like they want you to follow it, and that stood out to me. Ancient Peru

Ancient Mexico This picture has natural lighting because its outside, while the direction of the picture is above it. The main subject of the photograph is the pyramid. I can tell this because it’s the biggest part of the photo. The lines of the picture makes it so striking because all the lines make your eyes follow them all the way to the top of the pyramid. I think that the photographer is trying to communicate that the more you can see of something the better your perspective of it will be. In that case, is why the photographer takes pictures from above things, so you can see more of something. I selected this photo because you can see all of the pyramid not just what you would see from the bottom of it.

New York city This picture uses natural lighting because its outside. The direction of the photo is from above the city. The main subject of the photo is the empire state building because it’s the biggest building in the picture and the one that stands out the most. The line composition works by following all the lines (windows) on the side of the building all the way to the top of it. I think that the photographer is trying to communicate what the city looks like and how big it really is. I selected this photograph because it reminded me of how many great and big buildings are in that city.

Ancient Egypt This photo shows natural lighting because its outside. The direction of the photo is above everything. The main subject of this would be the pyramids because its what the photo is focusing on. This picture has rule of thirds and leading lines. These compositions make it so striking because with the leading lines its almost like you're following the pyramids in order, and there's also rule of thirds because of the big pyramid in the bottom right of the photo. I think that the photographer is trying to communicate how big the pyramids are when you compare them next to each other. I selected this photo cause I liked how it portrayed the pyramids and how the photo made them look using certain compositions.

The lighting of this photo is natural and the direction is above it. The main subject of the photo is the big swirly looking think in the field because that’s just what my eye caught first. Leading lines composition is a big part of this photo and it makes it so striking because it makes the roads stand out more. I also think that the photo has a lot of texture composition in it because of how the grass looks and how the setting of the picture makes it look rustic especially with it in black and white. I think that the photographer is trying to communicate what certain things can look like in black and white and how different they look compared to color. I chose this photo because I liked how different it looks than other photos she's taken.

The lighting of this photo is natural and the direction of it is from above the setting. The main subject of the photo is the crater because all the attention is towards it. The composition of the photo is texture, because of how you can see every groove in the crater and in the mountains around it. I think that the photographer is trying to communicate and show how the crater looks from above. To me it looks a lot smaller but then when I look at it I see more craters around it. I selected this photo because it stood out to me. I could see so much of one thing in one picture, just from taking it above the craters.
