1. Photos: Allissa Phoenix Allissa Phoenix Biography. Allissa was born on May 6 th 1993. She isn’t any professional photographer, but when she finds something beautiful that she enjoys seeing, she will capture it in a picture. Her work is used in our church’s photographs for youth group in middle school kids. She also has taken pictures at weddings and football games. She currently attends Western Oregon University and her major is in sign language interpreting. But in her spare time she takes many photos. A lot of her influence comes from friends and family being together. 2. Photo Questions: 1.The lighting used in this picture is naturally outside and it is coming from the front right behind the clouds coming from the sun. I think the lighting is perfect for the sunset and looks great. 2. The main point in the photo is the sky over the ridge with the tree and the sunset which has the clouds next to it that make it colorful and bright. And you can tell because the clouds and sky are located in rule of third spots same as the tree. 3.The composition in this picture is awesome because it shows the difference between light and dark. With the ridge being dark in the shadow and the sky and clouds and gold glow show the bright and make the picture outstanding. Also the lines on the photo are sharp. 4. I think the photographer is showing their love for the beautiful sunset’s and maybe something to communicate through the photo is the church’s great view of the horizon and sunset every night. 5. I chose this photo because I also love sunset’s and enjoy looking at the tree and the sunset in the summer.

3. Photo Questions: 1.The lighting used in this picture is from the bathroom light from behind the photographer and it is artificial lighting. I think the lighting on each animal is good for their color of fur to make each stand out. 2.The main subject is each animal and you can tell because they are in places of rule of thirds and have lighting that stands them out. 3. The composition works well because you can see the wetness of the animal in the photo and also the lighting is bright and dark in places. 4. The photographer is trying to communicate to the audience the animals disliking of baths and showed the viewer the sadness in their faces. 5. I chose this photo because I find it humorous and I love my pets.

4. Photo Questions. 1.The lighting in this photo is natural and it comes from behind the clouds over the mountains. I like the lighting a lot because you can see the light rays coming through the clouds and its really cool. 2.The main subject is the mountains and clouds because they are in rule of thirds areas and the mountains are in the lighting. 3. The composition works well with the picture because the sun rays are very visible and the clouds and mountain edges are sharp which means it is a quality photo. 4.The photographer is trying to show the beautiful mountains in Austria under the clouds which make the sunrays so much more distinct.
