 What is volume?  Volume is the amount of space taken up by a sample of matter.  What units are used to measure volume?  Volume is measured in liters (L) and milliliters (mL) as well as in cubic centimeters (cm 3 ) and cubic meters (m 3 ) All About Volume…

What tools can a scientist use to measure volume? What tools can a scientist use to measure volume? – Liquid Volume When measuring the volume of a liquid you need to use a graduated cylinder (mL and L). When measuring the volume of a liquid you need to use a graduated cylinder (mL and L). – Regular Solid When measuring the volume of a regular solid (such as a cube) you need to use a ruler (b x w x h) or (m 3 and cm 3 ). Summarize what you have learned about mass and volume. 10. When done get a golf ball and beaker to measure the golf ball volume. Record how you calculated the volume of golf ball.
