Folders Label each folder as follows:  Science  Social Studies  Writing (yellow)  Literature Circles (red)-put your summer reading novel and work in here for now *Put your name and homeroom on the front of ALL folders

Binders Label each binder as follows:  Reading  Social Studies  Math  Writing *Put your name and homeroom on the front of ALL binders

Reading Binder: You will need…  One subject divider labeled “Lit. Circles”  One subject divider labeled “ASK 6”  One subject divider labeled “Guided Reading”  One subject divider labeled “Notes”  One subject divider labeled “Homework” *Put the paper under the “Notes” tab

Writing Binder: You will need…  One subject divider labeled “Grammar”  One subject divider labeled “Types of Writing”  One subject divider labeled “Notes”  One subject divider labeled “Homework” *Put the paper under the “Notes” tab

Social Studies Binder: You will need…  One subject divider labeled “Notes”  One subject divider labeled “Homework”  One subject divider labeled “Tests/Quizzes”  One subject divider labeled “Current Events” *Put your Social Studies folder inside the binder *Put the paper under the “Notes” tab

Math Binder: You will need…  One subject divider labeled “Notes”  One subject divider labeled “Homework”  One subject divider labeled “Enrichment”  One subject divider labeled “Tests/Quizzes”  One subject divider labeled “Extras” *Put the paper under the “Extras” tab *Put the protractor and ruler in your binder pocket *Put your summer math calendar in the front pocket for now (remember, it was NOT mandatory)

Notebooks get labeled as follows:  Science  Writing (this is your composition book) *Put your name and homeroom on the front of all notebooks
