 The two main people in the Islam religion are the Muslim God (Allah) and Mohammed the prophet.  His family were traders in Mecca (where Mohammed was born  Mohammed had messages from God through the angel Gabriel

 They have to pray five times a day  They must perform Hajj once in their lifetime. This is a pilgrimage to Mecca their Holy Land.  Some Muslim women wear a burka when they are out in public.

 The Koran is the Muslims religious book like the bible to Christians.  Ramadan is the period of fasting that happens once a year for a month. During this time Muslims do not eat or drink anything(even water)from sunrise to sundown.
