Role of MEU Gathering feedback of stakeholders Assisting with and analysing stakeholder feedback Contributing to strategy development Assisting with the drafting of Malta’s National Programme for Asylum and Migration Fund Compilation of relevant EU template

Partnership Principle Article 12 of the Horizontal Regulation Parameters applicable to both AMF and ISF Requires that each MS organises a partnership with the authorities and bodies concerned in the drafting of the National Programme. Such bodies includes international and non- governmental organisations in the field.

Progress so far A number of action were proposed from interested parties. Preliminary evaluation, feedback provided and clarifications sought. Needs in the sector are being identified and assessed. Further input is required in this regard to substantiate current assessment.

Your Role Your experience and expertise in the field is an asset. What are the areas where intervention is needed? What has worked in the past? What are the risks to look out for? What was not successful? Where do you think the Fund can have the most positive impact?

Way Forward Your feedback is essential towards the development of national strategy. Facilitates the compilation of Malta’s National Programme, in line with this strategy. Calls for project proposals by Responsible Authority in line with National Programme. Contribution towards the implementation and the achievement of this strategy through projects.
