Technology of The Brain Ryan Thomas

Neurotechnology is any technology that directly relates to how we know the Central Nervous System and most importantly the brain works; this can mean anything that affects the brain from brain scanning too pharmaceutical drugs that effect the function of the brain. What is Neurotechnology…

Neurotechnology is a new and growing technology that started around the late 50’s early 60’s. Neurology is so relevant to society that we don’t even realize when it is around us. Any time we are testing our minds too get more performance out of our brain we are using neurology because it affects our mind. Neurotechnology Background

Brain imaging Things like MRIs (Magnetic resonance imaging) that can be used for activation of the brain by scanning. Brain electro stimulation Drugs Genetic modification Modification of original DNA to affect the brain. Types of Neurology

Brain Mapping To structure the brain to its function and finding certain parts that give us the our abilities. Smart drugs Medicine used to improve the performance of the Brain for people who have disorders like ADD Neuro feedback Training of the brain to make it perform more efficiently. By observing the brain as it does an action then showing the person the action and rewarding the brain for changing the its action too a more appropriate action. Neurology Research
