Approximately 7,000 people heard about the mc square during the conference 1,200 people stopped by the mc square booth and took a handout 107 people completed a survey which allowed them to evaluate the mc square The 2006 NSTA Conference

The Survey Participants and attendees of the NSTA Conference were given the chance to try the mc square. After the trial, participants were given a survey which asked them questions about their experience. Responses were given on a scale of 1 (most negative) to 5 (most positive).

Survey analysis showed that the majority of participants (71%) favored the P2 relaxation program. 19% of participants preferred the concentration program, while only 4% and 6% chose the right/left brain and deep sleep programs, respectively. The low number of people who preferred P4 is a result of the fact that very few people wanted to try the deep sleep program midday. Analysis across gender showed that 10% more women than men preferred the relaxation program. Favorite Program “Which program did you like the best?”

Did you like the Sounds of Nature Program? Sounds of Nature The average response was 4.25 with a standard deviation of 0.78.

Was the mc square comfortable and easy to use? Comfort and Easy of Use The average response was 4.26 with a standard deviation of 0.77.

How did you like the design? Design The average response was 4.08 with a standard deviation of 0.86.

How did you feel during the trial? Effect of the mc square The average response was 4.24 with a standard deviation of 0.78.

How did you feel after the trial? Effect of the mc square The average response was 4.33 with a standard deviation of 0.73.

Participants responded very positively to all five of the opinion questions; the average response was greater than 4 on each question. Average response was roughly the same on all 5 questions. The average responses of male and females to the five questions were roughly the same. Overall Results

Overall, The average response was 4.23 with a standard deviation of 0.79.

Overall, 69% of participants responded that they would like more information about the mc square, and 13% responded that they would be interested in buying one at that time. It was found that females responded slightly more favorably to these two questions, responding yes 71% and 15% of the time, respectively, compared to 67% and 11% for males. Overall, the response to the mc square was extremely positive. Almost 70% of people who tried the device were interested in the mc square and wanted more information about it. The average response to opinion questions about the mc square was greater than 4 on a scale of 1-5. In general, people were thoroughly impressed by the capabilities of the mc square. The NSTA Conference served as a focused, large-scale advertisement for the mc square. Final Thoughts
