MOODLE IS A COURSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DESIGNED TO HELP EDUCATORS WHO WANT TO CREATE QUALITY ONLINE COURSES. THE SOFTWARE IS USED ALL OVER THE WORLD BY UNIVERSITIES, SCHOOLS, COMPANIES AND INDEPENDENT TEACHERS. MOODLE IS OPEN SOURCE AND COMPLETELY FREE TO USE. -

What is Moodle? Electronic course management system Paperless way to educated students of all ages Portable classroom

When can Moodle be used? Moodle can be accessed at any time of the day by both students and teachers. Any electronic device with internet capability can access Moodle Moodle can be used to organize a distance learning program. Moodle can be used as an electronic submission site for face-to-face instructed classes (blended learning). Moodle can be used to provide support for extended absence students due to illness or vacations.

Who can use Moodle? Moodle is free to download and use. Moodle can be customized (for a fee) by partner companies with Moodle. Used by both teachers and students. Used in distance education programs. Used in blended courses. Used internationally by colleges, schools, and businesses for education and training.

How can Moodle enhance the classroom? Provide a forum to make more class options possible due to low staffing or low enrollment. Engage students through the integration of multiple technologies. Provide more time for teacher interaction in the face- to-face classroom due to the self-paced design of Moodle. Allows multiple levels of differentiation to meet student needs.

Future of Moodle Education is moving to a fluid environment that values individualization, self-paced learning, and technology. As budgets decrease and student to teacher ratios increase Moodle will allow teachers to better manage student assignments and applications. Moodle will allow for a wide variety of distance education in order to fulfill the needs of multiple levels of student graduation requirements and speciality needs.
