Project Description: This is the perfect tool for your students to use to present any report to the class. The file folder can be reused again and again! Materials: 1 File folder Tape 1/2 yard of ribbon, yarn or survey tape Template for reports (3 different kinds provided) Craft sticks and index cards Trim the extra piece off the file folder to even out the sides. Fold one side of the file folder in half. Step 1 Step by Project Gals Instructions for making the Present It Pouch!

Now unfold the side of the file folder and open it up. Poke a small incision approximately 1 cm from one edge of the folded side of the file folder. Cut all along the crease and stop approximately 1 cm from the edge of the file folder. Now go ahead and refold the side of the file folder in half. Tape down the sides of the file folder to create the stage (see arrows). Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Tape Instructions for making the Present It Pouch!

Step by Project Gals White paper for setting Instructions for making the Present It Pouch! Fold handout and insert into pouch You are now ready to arrange your templates! Use a blank piece of paper for your students to illustrate the setting of the story. The best part about this is that your students can add as many sheets of paper to illustrate the changes in the setting. Students only need to color the top half of the paper. Tuck the setting illustration into the pocket that was created by folding the side of the file folder. You will notice that there is a space between the flaps. This is where you insert the folded template so that it hangs over the flap and can be easily turned around. Now hole punch two holes at the top of the file folder and thread some ribbon or yarn through it to turn it into a hanging stage. Use Index cards and straws to make people!
