Implemented first global aerosol assimilation system in the world (NAVDAS-AOD) to improve forecasts via NAAPS. Upgraded the NOGAPS Ensemble with the Banded Ensemble Transform (ET) initialization to improve spread of initial ensemble. Implemented wave height assimilation in our global wave forecast system WW3.
