Grieving is a natural reaction to this kind of loss. The way a person grieves may include these stages.

Denial Emotional Release Anger Bargaining Depression Remorse Acceptance (allows for closure) Hope

Accepting these feelings is necessary for healing and allows for coping with the loss.

Coping with death or a traumatic event are some of the most painful losses we experience.

Getting support from family, friends, and your community makes the grieving process easier.
