We are a member and are not invited to the general stakeholder meetings or to the regional preparatory process, which we have been much involved in previously.” Assignment of a responsibility to each member for the World Water Forum

Other suggestions Membership Questionnaire “ More regional members meeting would be very important. Having regional membership meetings could be a great way of ensuring regional outreach. Most of the members who are not in one are probably not so involved in the work of the WWC.” Supporting WWC activities through regional hubs Support member initiatives in their home countries Enabling exchanges between members (e.g. Extranet*) Online discussion programmes Creation of space for large-scale Practioners/Civil Society for sharing grassroots best practices, challenges Greater number of working languages (e.g. Spanish, French)

Other suggestions Membership Questionnaire “I understand the WWC's role and focus on the 1-6 World Water Forums; however, I would like to see the Council increase its capacity to play a leadership role after the Forum by working with members on global priority topics. Not funding, but facilitation of members with mutual interests. To do this, the Council would need to identify priorities or take calls for action groups from membership.” “Broaden and deepen the intimacy. I love the intimacy in the family. I loved it since Turkey. I was always at the WWC stand to watch. Please extend it to us. Make us feel like a part of the Family. Get more interested in our particular issues. Thanks.”
