PROGRAM GOALS 2 Focus of assisting struggling homeowners in order to prevent foreclosure and addition of Blight Elimination program focusing on promoting economic improvements and to promote increases in property values for communities. It’s not about just one program but a combination of all programs! 2

PROGRESS TO DATE As of end of second quarter 2014:  21,194 households assisted through mortgage programs  315 demolition funded 3

RECENT PROGRAM CHANGES  Addition of 11 new cities for Blight Elimination work  Expanding our Unemployment Assistance program to aid homeowners that have had a decrease in income and provide assistance to those that have drawn unemployment benefits in the last 12 months  Expanding our Modification program to insert a floor LTV or a ratio of 45% CHANGE IS GOOD!! 4

NEW IDEAS  Revamping and updating our marketing. What has worked in the past is not working now. OUTREACH!  Grass roots efforts- Staff on the road passing out program information. Food Banks, Union Offices – BE CREATIVE!  Expanding Blight to the next tier of cities with continued efforts statewide to address Blight. 5
