Fraction to Decimal  A fraction is like a division  1 fifth is the same as 1 ÷ 5  1 = Divide the numerator by the denominator

Fraction to Percent  A percentage is a fraction with 100 as the denominator  Ex Write 2 as a percentage 5 2 x 20 = 40  40 % 5 x

“Trick” to find %  Numerator ÷ denominator x 100  3  3 ÷ 7 x  42.9 %

Percent to Decimal  Divide by 100  15%  15/100 = 15 ÷ 100 = 0.15

Percent to a Fraction  Place over 100  Reduce  Example:  20%  = 20/100  Reduce : 2/10 or 1/5

Decimal to Fractions  Write the number how you would read it out loud:  0.05 = Five hundredths = 5/100 then reduce 1/20

Decimal to %  Multiply by 100  Example:  0.25 = 0.25 x 100 = 25%  1.1 = 1.1 x 100 =  =  0.54 =
