8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day

The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. Genesis 2:25

7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked

Shame: that sense of unease with yourself at the heart of your being.

“Sometimes I feel I’m living a meaningless life, and I get frightened. I have no answers to anything. None. Actors live dependent on being validated by other people’s opinions, I don’t understand what it is I do that people want. Most actors on most days don’t think they’re worthy. I have no idea where this insecurity comes from, but it’s a God-sized hole. If I knew, I’d fill it, and I’d be on my way.”

7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

And I will put (hatred and hostility) between you and your offspring. Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world….. But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; 11 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the seas roar, and all that is in it; 12 let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; 13 they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to rule the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth
