1. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 1 The Kingdom of God came on earth through Adam & Eve – Gen.1:28. They were made in the image of God and told to rule & reign over the earth. Psalm 115:16 “The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man. ”

2. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 2 God spoke at the fall of man about a time still to come Genesis 3:15b “…. he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

3. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 3 ISA.9:6-7 NLT “6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 His ever expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the LORD Almighty will guarantee this!”

4. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 4 Then a voice predicted the timing of this Kingdom : Matthew 3:2 – through the preaching of John the Baptist “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

5. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 5 Then it happened Matthew 9:35 “Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” This is what the Kingdom of God looks like on earth – demonstrated by the King of this Kingdom.

6. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 6 The Kingdom does not increase automatically Matthew 11:12 “Jesus said, “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.” The world, the flesh, & the devil are its enemies

7. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 7 Then the 12 disciples were commissioned Matthew 10:7-8 “7 As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” They went and did what they had seen Jesus do as He demonstrated the Kingdom’s impact on the world

8. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 8 Then the 12 took it to the world Matthew 28:18-20 “18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

9. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 9 Then there is us, for as long as there is an ‘us’ Colossians 1:13 “For he has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness, and he has brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son.” We are the children of God with all the rights & privileges of sons – co-heirs with Jesus

10. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 10 Then the end will come 1 Corinthians 15:24 “Then the end will come, when he {Jesus} hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.” {in the final battle} Rev. 12:10 “Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ.

11. THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN - 11 The whole purpose of the church Matthew 6:33 NLT “….He will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. ” Will you make 2011 different to this year?
