Trace  Text- This is a picture of two people that died after the building in Savar Dhaka, Bangladesh came crashing down. What is so unique about this picture is that the two people were complete strangers and because of what was happening and no body else being close to them they came together.  Reader- I don’t think there is an intended audience. It is moving for anyone who sees it. I am part of the intended audience because the picture moved me.  Author- The picture was taken by Taslima Akhter. I think when she saw the two in each other’s arms like this that it really struck her. That it brought many questions to her mind that could never be answered.  Constraints- I think if anyone found this pair after what had happened would take a picture because they were all that each other had left for the last bit of time in their life. The drop of blood that runs from the mans eye that looks like a tear is something that influenced me. I think anyone who sees that would be influenced by it. It’s just interesting that it looks like a tear but it is a drop of blood and it has meaning behind it.  Exigence- There is no argument in this picture. It is just a documentation of tragedy that struck and brought two people together for their final moments of life.

 Image Title: Savar Dhaka, Bangladesh  Bibliographic Citation: Akhter, Taslima. Trace  Text- This is a picture of U.S money also with money from different countries around the world. I think what makes it unique is that there is also a globe in it so you can take it as money makes the world go round.  Reader- I think anyone could be the intended audience because everyone is interested in money. Yes I am part of the intended audience because I am interested in money. If the author put the globe in the background of purpose to make a statement then yes I think we share commonalities.  Author- I think the author was trying to show the power of money. That all around the world money can control.  Constraints- I think the fact that money can control so much and that it does have so much power that this picture can influence anyone. I think another thing is the fact that a person is holding the money so that whoever has the money is the one that is in control.  Exigence- I think the argument is that money has so much power over the world and whoever has it is in control and I think that this can involve anyone.

Religion is important and powerful to me. What does this images state about power? The power that Jesus has over this world is uncomprehendable. Why Do You State So? He created the world. How does this image fit with the others in your collection (if at all)? All my pictures are expressive.

 Power can easily be seen in pictures or cartoons or anything graphic because it is something that captures the moment. For example in one of my pictures, it was two people that died in each others arms after a building crashed down. They didn’t even know each other but their death brought them together. If that isn’t powerful then I don’t know what is. Also a picture of a gun is powerful because if anyone is held at gun point they would do anything that the person holding the gun told them to do. It has power over them. A picture can say all of this and that is why it is a good representation of power.  Personally my favorite picture in my collection is the one of Jesus in Rio de Janerio because religion is very important to me and I think it is a good representation of power and all He has over the world. Since He is the creator of all and the picture I think captures some of that because the picture looks heavenly. Especially with the sunset behind it and the clouds surrounding it as well. I think it is just beautiful and very powerful.

 I think people should see my pictures as all expressive because that’s what they all are. They all really express power and how important it can be. It can show how objects can have power, how people can have power over other people, and how things that happen can bring power to a situation.  I think the picture that is most helpful in expressing power for me is the picture of a soldier kissing that casket of another soldier. I think the reason why it is so helpful is because it is a picture of something that fought for our country and died and for it and one of his fellow soldiers is saying goodbye and that really expresses power to me.  This project has opened up to my eyes to more things that represent power. Instead of just looking at a dictator or a picture of war or something, I now see that death is powerful as well as technology and all of my other pictures that are in my project.
