Applied Communication Persuasive Project PowerPoint Guidelines

Requirements You must include all of the content from your written persuasive report, but more compactly. 15 slide minimum Include your graphs Make sure your graphs are readable and well labeled!

Requirements You must use slide transitions. You must use slide animations. Sounds and animated pictures are not required; however, if you use them, they must be appropriate and not overused; this will result in loss of points.

Requirements You must use a variety of clipart and pictures to enhance the quality of your presentation. Your slides must have high contrast so the people in the back can read them easily. Use only a few, short points per slide.

Tips If you don’t know how to use PowerPoint or some of the required features: Ask me Ask your peers

Tips The A/C web page use the page to view example presentations, get ideas or handouts, and to view the assessment rubrics.

Guides Plan on at least a 5-minute presentation We will only spend three days creating presentations Do not read directly from your slides! Look at audience Speak with confidence – appropriate volume Stand up straight
