LESSON DESIGN WORKSHOP

Objective 1: Design coherent instruction and learning activities collaboratively that are highly relevant to students and pedagogical goals. Objective 2: Improve professional practice by working with colleagues to analyze and modify instructional plans and teaching in order to enhance student understanding of subject matter. Objective # 6. Describe the educational needs of your students and identify professional resources for needed information. Objective # 7. Engage in learning processes that enable you to describe and demonstrate your classroom practice, while documenting progress towards meeting the performance goals specified in the Induction Plan.

In Lesson Design Research Groups: Work together on your group's lesson study plan using the following criteria: 1) relationship to previous and subsequent lessons; 2) possible adaptations; 3) management strategies; 4) engagement/achievement of all learners; and 5) assessment strategies.
