Structure of Framework 9 Performance Indicators: 1.Learner Views 2.Learner Destinations 3.Employer Views 4.Qualification Success Rates 5.Financial Health 6.Financial Management and Control 7.Delivery of Funding allocation or contract value 8.Funding per successful outcome 9.Provider-level cost per weighted SLN

Main survey questions… 1.How good or bad was the information you were given when you were choosing your course? 2.How good or bad was the help staff gave you in the first few weeks? 3.How good or bad is the teaching on your course? 4.How good or bad is the respect staff show to you? 5.How good or bad is the advice you have been given about what you can do after this course? 6.How good or bad is the support you get on this course? 7.How good or bad is the provider at listening to the views of learners? 8.How good or bad is the provider at acting on the views of learners? 9.Overall, how good or bad do you think the provider is?

New for 2010/11 This year providers will have the option of asking their learners to answer a small number of questions towards the end of the survey at a Learning Aims level. These responses will not contribute towards the final score but we will feed the results back to each provider, benchmarked against the responses of all learners who are taking that learning aim across the country. Learners must be given their Official Learning Aims code in advance Name: John Smith Our provider code: Your learner code: A Your course codes: (Hairdressing Reception Duties) (Women’s Hairdressing (QCF))

Employer Views Survey

Employer views Survey The survey will run from 11 th January 2011 to 7 th February – After this date the Skills Funding Agency may decide to contact some employers by telephone. This would happen in March.

Other Evaluation Resources Need to demonstrate impact further Be systematic and formal, particularly at key contact points Promote continual improvement Developed some standardised Evaluation Templates Programme evaluation plan Induction Evaluation Individual Lesson Delivery End of programme On IIH website

Employer Views Survey Prior to, and during, the Employer Views survey, providers should make their employers aware of the Employers Views survey and the benefits of participating. Namely, that it will generate nationally comparable information on employer’s views of the training they receive.
