 Name of ruler  The ruling system  Demographic data  Important dates (1973 in oman)

On this slide, you can mention how the location of your country has enriched the cultural diversity, if it did at all. Location can effect languages used, or activities such as the trade line, or some crafts. For example, living close to the coastline would encourage the building of sailing ships.

 The different regions  fashion show Remember to relate every slide to your country’s identity. A variety of national dresses, such as in Oman, might suggest the co-existence of different cultures.

 Different languages  Multinationals: a foreign national delegate could share his/her experience of being in the host country. Remember to mention: Remember to mention: What does this add to your country’s identity??

 Food  Dances, music  Games and sports  Common animals Explain what each activity or each sport means to your country, and how it distinguishes your identity from other’s. You could also mention symbols used in your country and explain their significance to the identity of your country. Example: The dagger on the Omani flag symbolizes the strength and sacrifice of the Omani people.

 Mention something that your country is known for, and show how it makes it unique.  These could be anything from a famous landmark, to a common trait between your people.

What does the comparison show about your country’s identity? Speed of development maybe? Or keeping up with the history?

 Your presentation should include 3 different features that make up your country’s identity  All delegates should take part in the presentation
