Module Aims The aim of this learning session is to provide a new insight into cultural awareness and cultural knowledge. To acquaint with a culture, literature and music, sport, government etc. of different countries. Familiarization with selected cultural characteristics, history, values, belief systems and behaviors of the members from another ethnic group.

Module Objectives A general objective is to improve the cultural knowledge of disadvantaged people. More specifically: –To test a knowledge about cultural awareness –Understand basics about cultural awareness –Distinguish between cultural traits in different countries –Understand politics and government in the countries of European Union –Improve knowledge about basic rules of behaviour in the countries –To increase knowledge about cultural expression generally –Develop interpersonal competence
