Sol.Co Mantova Solidarietà e Cooperazione

WHO ARE WE? Sol.Co. Mantova is a consortium of social cooperatives. Since 1991 it has promoted services for people and their territory. Today Sol.Co. Mantova is a network of 21 active social enterprises in the province of Mantova. Sol.Co is aimed to ease the social and working reintegration of people, improve the quality of life of the community and create opportunities of social, cultural and entrepreneurial development.

OUR NETWORK All the cooperatives of the consortium are committed to offering social/health, assistance, rehabilitation and educational services for children, young people, families and disabled people. They also support the integration of disadvantaged people in protected working contexts.

OUR NUMBERS More than 1650 people committed in the different Mantuan social cooperatives of Sol.Co 910 partners, 67% are women, 608 worker partners and 256 volunteers Sol.Co is active in about 60 municipalities in the province of Mantua. Through its services and activities during the year it has reached: 9800 minors, young people and families 1030 non-self-sufficient people or disadvantaged people 1310 individual projects for the reintegration/relocation of people in the world of work and in the society 245 disadvantaged people found a job in one of the member cooperatives of Sol.Co Mantova, active in different entrepreneurial areas

OUR NETWORK We work on territorial projects in collaboration with Regione Lombardia, Provincia of Mantova, Municipalities, Local Health Authority, Hospital, Banking Foundations. We are also partner of the social services who help ex offenders and people with criminal and social problems.

ACTION FOR THE SOCIAL REINTEGRATION Our network meets the needs of the Mantuan population. In detail, our intervention refers to: - CC (Casa Circondariale) of Mantua - UEPE (Ufficio Esecuzione Penale Esterna) of Mantova and Cremona - Users of these structures / their specific social and work situation

NEEDS EXPRESSED In general, needs expressed by this kind of users are not far from those of people who live a condition of social fragility: House Work Social integration

ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSES Regardless of the individual project, adjusted to the social context and shared with the sender and the financier, Sol.Co is working with the aim of giving responses in order to face these needs in a structured way. In particular: House= Beat Area Work= Mestieri/Cooperjob
