© EUROCONTROL 2016 – Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) ● Raise warnings about inconsistencies between data at airport and in flight plan ● Benefit for AOs, ATC,…: Receive an automatic reminder that flight plan data is inconsistent with data at the airport AO is requested to solve the inconsistency by e.g. updating the flight plan More accurate flight plans (for en-route ATC, ADES,…) ● Network benefits: More accurate flight profiles in ETFMS provides more accurate data to the network. Benefits – ARCTYP & REGistration - All DPI types

© EUROCONTROL 2016 – Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) ● Confirms airport slot ● Benefit for AOs, ATC,…: ETFMS slot allocation improved: first-planned-first-served ● Network benefits: Confirms the existence of an Airport Slot, reduces number of ghost flights, increases flight plan completeness Benefits – Early-DPI

© EUROCONTROL 2016 – Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) ● Provides the Target Take-Off Time based upon estimate from AO and handler, i.e. EOBT updated with TOBT ● Benefit for AOs, ATC,…: Allows for take-off/CTOT before EOBT Prevent issue of a CTOT that cannot be met by the flight ● Network benefits: More accurate traffic predictions through the provision of the TTOT based upon the TOBT Benefits – Target-DPI-target

© EUROCONTROL 2016 – Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) ● Provides the Take-Off-Time based upon the ATC pre-departure sequence, i.e. based upon TSAT ● Benefit for AOs, ATC,…: Prevent issue of CTOT that cannot be met especially in situations where demand is higher than airport/ATC capacity Enabler to improve mgt during e.g. de-icing situations ● Network benefits: More accurate traffic predictions through the provision of the TSAT (+taxi-time), especially for non-regulated traffic The T-DPI-s is the only means to provide delays due to e.g. reduction of departure capacity to the network. Benefits – Target-DPI-sequenced

© EUROCONTROL 2016 – Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) ● Provides the actual off-block event and the Take-Off-Time based upon AOBT ● Benefit for AOs, ATC,…: Freeze CTOT Reduce risk on suspension due to Flight Activation Monitoring (FAM) freeze flight plan updates ● Network benefits: More accurate traffic predictions through the provision of the AOBT (+taxi-time) Benefits – ATC-DPI

© EUROCONTROL 2016 – Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) ● To cancel previously sent DPI information. ● Network benefits: To keep the network up-to-date in case of (last minute) disturbances Benefits – Cancel-DPI

© EUROCONTROL 2016 – Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) Variable taxi-times ©2011 The European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) The accurate taxi-time per flight

© EUROCONTROL 2016 – Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) Improved TOT predictions which lead to: ● For the network/NMOC: Improved traffic count predictions Better use of available capacity Improved adjustment of CTOT to requested TOT ● For AOs: Better suitable CTOT Improved Estimated Landing Time prediction ● For Airports: More accurate estimated landing times for inbound flights ● For ANSPs: More accurate traffic count predictions via NMOC data distribution services ©2011 The European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL)
