Candidate’s Political Offices Before his presidential run, he was the fifth African American Senator in U.S from January 2005 until his resignation November 16, After winning election campaigns and be the new president, he had responsibilities such as: leading the executive branch of the federal government, executive and judicial officers appointed with the advice and consent of the Senate, at the forefront of the foreign policy of the United States, and allows the President to grant pardons or moratoria.

Prior Political and Experience Leadership Impulse policies promoted as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 or the Act Job Creation and Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization Ended the war in Iraq, increased presence of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, signed the New START III arms control with Russia, ordered U.S. military intervention in the Libyan conflict. Other domestic policy initiatives have included the Laws of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or the Dodd-Frank financial reform and consumer protection.

Candidate’s point of view on the next issues: Healthcare Obama has a healthcare reform act called the Obama care. In his reform act it states that children cannot be denied to be insured because of pre-existing condition. His reform act also states that kids can be apart of they parents healthcare plan till they are 26. The Obama healthcare plan states that the insurance companies cannot drop people when they are seriously sick. Barak Obama is Liberal about this subject.

Education Cut down college tuitions. Recruit 100,000 math and science teachers to help early childhood schooling. Give people a chance to go to community colleges and learn job skills. Barack Obama is Liberal on this subject.

Economy Signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which helped to create jobs while making the investments we need to create true economic security for the middle class. President Obama has focused on efforts that can help small businesses grow and expand – that’s why he’s cut taxes for small businesses, helping them hire, invest in new equipment, and pay for health care coverage for their employees. Taxes Plans to hike taxes on people who make $200,000 and families making more than $250,000. The tax relief plan is for middle class families that will have an $80 billion dollar tax cut. Plans increase taxes for the rich. Barak Obama is Liberal about this subject.

Global Warming He said that it is a threat caused by humans and he promised to decrease the reliance on foreign oil. Obama also said that global warming kills thousands each year and that we need to use less oil and produce more solar. Obama is Liberal on this subject.

Gun Control Provide some common-sense enforcement on gun licensing. Opposed bill okaying illegal gun use in home invasions. Stop unscrupulous gun dealers dumping guns in cities. Barak Obama is Conservative about this subject.

Immigration Over the last three years, the Obama Administration has dedicated unprecedented resources to secure our borders. Anti-immigrant bitterness stems from joblessness. Extend welfare and Medicaid to immigrants. Support the Dream Act for the children of illegal immigrants. Barack Obama is Liberal on this subject.

Religion and Government He believes that this nation is not a nation under God but this is a nation under the Government. It also states that he believes that Government is greater than God. Obama is Conservative on this subject.

Same Sex-Marriage He supports same sex-marriage. He states that “Love has no gender, if two people love each other, they should be able to get married”. He is Liberal about this subject.
